NOVENA OF GRACE TO St. FRANCIS XAVIER

Most lovable and loving St. Francis Xavier, in union with thee I adorethe divine Majesty. The remembrance of the favours with which God blessed thee during life, and of thy glory after death, fills me with joy; and I unite with thee in offering to him my humble tribute of thanksgiving and of praise. I implore thee to secure for me, through thy powerful intercession, the inestimable blessing of living and dying in the state of grace. I also beseech thee to obtain for me the favour I ask in this novena (make your petition). But if what I ask is not for the glory of God and for the good of my soul, do thou obtain for me what is most conducive for both. - AMEN

PRAYER OF CONSECRATION

O compassionate Mother, consoler and healer of the afflicted, we have gathered here in your abode in faith and full of confidence in you. Our intercessor, we fly to your patronage and implore your protection, O mother, against all saneres and temptations of the devil. Help above all things, to love and live for Jesus. We beseech your love and protection for the poor, the downtrodden and orphans. O most gracious Mother, who grants all that we ask for without fail, wipe away our tears and sufferings. Keep us safe from all dreaded diseases that torment us, Help us is our poverty and hunger. Give us everlasting peace and joy. Lead and guide us to a happy contended life. Protect us from all dangers and grant us good health in body and mind. Help us all in our spiritual and temporal needs. Despise not our petition, but in your mercy hear and answer our prayers through your son Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. - AMEN
